Soft Jazz in the Bushes

"Where is that music coming from?"
"I think there are speakers hidden in those bushes."
"Are you serious? That's just downright... tacky. Is that Kenny G?"
"I don't know. I think it's kind of nice walking through a park on the harbor with some soft music. It creates a sort of ambience."
"Really?"
"Yeah. It's romantic. Where are you going?"
"I need to get out of here."
"You hate that music that much?"
"No. Well, yes, but I just don't think this is going to work out."
"Excuse me?"
"I wasn't really sure about you before, but if you think that is romantic? I don't know. It's just too much."
"You're breaking up with me because I like music playing in the park?"
"I guess."
"You guess?"
"Well, you see, it's symptomatic of a world view I don't share, and frankly, I can't stand. There are so many things wrong with pumping bland music into a public space from concealed speakers. If you really like that it means you are for everything that stands for. I can't do this."
"You need to get some perspective. You're fucking crazy."
