Getting to Yes is an example of everything wrong with today's popular culture. Fisher, Ury, and Patton use 300+ pages to try and help men scheme their way into the pants of the opposite sex. The technique is essentially, "keep making your moves until she is backed into a physical, logical, or emotional corner so she has to assent or until she is jsut too damn tired of saying no." The subtitle of this book should be, "How to make someone do something that hurts them and only benefits you" or "Verbal Rufinol."
