Here's a little something about the commercialization of Christmas and holidays in general. All these special days are just being turned into interchangeable excuses to spend more money, and they're just pretty much the same... like...
Cookie cutters?
No, like scoops of ice cream. That's why this is a picture of an ice cream scoop. Get it?
Yeah, I understand the concept, but there's already an analogy for it. A cookie cutter. You don't need to come up with another way to express an idea that has already been expressed in a universally accepted manner.
But it isn't like that! These scoops are all pretty similar, but they're different flavors, or sizes, and they all just melt away eventually. Just like holiday spirit!
I'll give you that last bit, but I would change it, because no one I know ever leaves ice cream alone long enough for it to melt away. It's more like you eat so much of it you eventually get sick of it all and hate yourself for being such a stereotypical American fatty. Then you diet and blah blah blah the cycle starts all over again. Emotions, family ties, travel, they all get old really quick.
You just made my point for me!
No. It's still dumb. I know you're running out of steam on this project, but come on! You need to try a little harder than this art school, smoked-too-much-weed-so-I-put-together-some-conceptual-bullshit-at-the-last-minute crap. Go work on next month's haikus or something.
Shut up.
