Sunlight was just starting to fill the room, let in through the bank of windows facing the house blocking his view of the bay. Two of the girls napped leaning on each other on the small couch across from him with irregular halos of illuminated, mussed up hair fizzing around their heads. the third was curled up in the chair next to him, knees pulled up to her chest breathing deep and regular.
