Tissues

I remembered what I wanted to write about the other night, then (obviously) forgot. Facial tissues are packaged almost exclusively in a girlish manner. I know that sounds terribly sexist, but those soothing pastels and inevitable floral designs can evoke no other associations. Kleenex has apparently learned of this phenomenon and started producing a single box that - to my bigoted mind - feels completely gender neutral, covered in a pattern of brightly colored squares. They certainly aren't the cheapest boxes, but I buy them anyway. I even save the empty boxes in case I decide I can use these boxes for some sort of art project in the future. Hoarding has occasionally been a problem for me, but over the past few years I've been able to suppress the instinct. These are totally worth it.
