Because I can

Behold one of the first photos taken with my brand new iPhone 4s. I feel a little hypocritical gushing about this wonderful piece of technology while I'm also gushing about the Occupy Wall Street protests erupting across the globe, but this is the 21st century, and I'll be damned if I can't reap whatever benefits come from living here, even if we can't have flying cars yet.

I'm going to come out and say what plenty of other people are, being anti- corporate green does not mean you are 100% against capitalism. This system has produced so many amazing things, but even the best ways of life are subject to perversion. Not to say that capitalism is the ideal way for society to operate, but it's the best we have at the moment.

Anyway, this phone is amazing. The camera takes amazing pictures for such a small package, and the one video I've shot in decent conditions has looked stunning. There are so many things that can be done with this thing. I'm very excited to use this as a tool to improve my life and my work. Does that sound a little over the top? Probably, but I think we're going to have a lot of fun.
