Sombrero. Siesta.

First of all, I would like to apologize for falling a little behind the past few days. Life has been happening, but I have still been working on some photos. I just seem to be lacking the vital free time and energy to post and write a little something.

Portland, ME, Third Floor

I used to stay in this room every time we visited my grandparents. The bed (always with that same bedspread) was centered under that light, with that ridiculous sombrero hanging under it. One day a few years ago I was awake and bored, and rummaged through the cabinets to see if I could find any cool old stuff. Turns out there was an old photo album of my grandpa's from WWII when he was an airman in the South Pacific that he hadn't seen for years.

For the sake of just posting, all I've done to this is cropping and resizing so it doesn't blow your browser up when you full-size the image (because if you aren't looking at these full-sized you are obviously missing something). So the color could be better and there's some dust I have yet to paint out. I'll try to get more out over the weekend.
