Something giant rolled down the hill as I approached the corner to turn up it. I stopped and regarded its pale green form as it disappeared down a much steeper incline, unable to catch any clues regarding its origin. Not sure what to make of it, I decided to continue on my way home and climbed up the street. Another ball-type-thing was halfway down and picking up speed, and mass? I refused to believe it got bigger as it rolled past my safe haven on the sidewalk.
I fixed my eyes on my objective at the top of the street as a crab apple fell off a tree, bounced twice on the pavement, and started rolling down the incline. It picked up mass like a snowball, as if it was made of pure kinetic energy. This one hit something in the road and jumped the curb, hurtling towards me the size of a golf cart. I dove into the street just in time, and looked up to find another almost on top of me.
The dream continued in this manner as I slowly froggered my way up the hill. Once I made it to the offending tree I made a point to catch the next fallen apple. I took a bite out of it and exploded.
