Apocaliberalypse

I had a dream New England was ripped off the surface of the Earth, clean along the borderlines, and flung halfway around the world like a ballistic missile to its new resting place in the south Pacific off the coast of Australia. Everyone treated it as reward for being so awesome, each state in its own way of course, until volcanoes erupted simultaneously in Maine (Mt. Katahdin) and western Massachusetts (Mt. Greylock) covering the new island in lava and ash.
