Why is there a picture of a statue of three bears on the cover of this book? I have no clue, because its a story about an army of ghosts sweeping through a small town in order to clean it up. Being supernatural and all, they can tell when someone has bad intentions, and they howl and hound that person until they give up and go home or something.
You probably wouldn't even know why they're accosting you if they didn't reach into your mind and show you how you're actions would play out and what they would do to your victim. It's not like you even consciously intended to hurt someone, but now you feel like a terrible person and the only way to get rid of those fucking specters is to give up and go home until you don't want to hurt anyone anymore, even subconsciously.
How do you make them go away when they still haunt your every step when you go out with the best of intentions? Is staying locked up in your house really the only way to do no harm? What does that do to an insular little town like this?
